About Thurles Racecourse

Thurles Racecourse is a horse racing venue in the town of Thurles, County Tipperary. The course is located one mile outside Thurles town which is easily accessible by road and rail.

It is a right handed track of one and a quarter miles with a stiff uphill finish. Thurles is the only privately owned racecourse in the country and is one of four all-National Hunt racecourses in Ireland.

Our Last meeting of the season is quite unique to Thurles Racecourse as it is on a Saturday, not the Usual “Thurles on a Thursday”! We are hosting a best dressed ladies and most appropriately dressed Gents competition kindly sponsored by First Editions Boutique and Morans Menswear.
